The story
Grove started as an internal tool at Rose Tinsley Consulting. We were tracking time in a spreadsheet, managing clients in another, drafting posts in a third, and writing reports from scratch each month. It worked. It was also exhausting. So we built something better.
Independent consultants spend more time on the administration of their work than they should. Not because they're disorganised, but because the tools they use were not designed for how they work. Grove connects time tracking, client management, content drafting, and reporting so the admin takes care of itself.
We're not trying to replace enterprise software. We're building the quiet alternative: the tool that stays out of your way, does what it says, and earns its place in your day.
We're a small GIS and spatial data consultancy based in Essex, UK. We build data tools for the property, energy, and infrastructure sectors, and we run our own consultancy the same way our clients run theirs. Grove is the product we wished existed when we started.
Grove is built and maintained by the RTC team. It's not a side project: it's what we use ourselves.
